Choose three activities in a Tic-Tac-Toe pattern to complete this week that reflect on the week’s reading.  Due at the end of class Friday.  Class work grade.

Surf the Net
While reading this book, check out the Web and its offerings about the book, its author, or its subject.  Write down (and cite the source) five new aspects that you learned.

Cast the Mold
Create a “playbill” (a cast list with pictures and names—like can be found on IMDB)
Charlie, Miss Kinnian, Gimpy, Mr. Donner, Dr. Strauss, Professor Nemur
Include a picture of each of the actors/actresses.
Time Line
Using your own template or the website, www.timetoast.com, plot the events in Charlie Gordon's life during the story and evaluate their importance.

Haiku/Limerick
Limerick: Create one about a character. To begin, a limerick is a funny little poem containing five lines. It has a very distinctive rhythm and rhyme pattern. When you write a limerick, make sure that it has the same AABBA rhyme pattern
Haiku: Create three about the text. Each haiku is three lines with a 5-7-5 syllable pattern.
Wanted Ad

Write an ad for a product or person that Charlie really needs or wants.  A classified ad is looking to buy or sell something and includes a contact, number, and short informational.
Song Dissection:

Find your own song and make 10 notations relating it to the text.
Story Boards/Cartoon

Create a four panel cartoon or storyboard for the biggest events of the week’s reading.
